👥 Employee Settings System
A complete overhaul of how employee settings are managed.
Employee settings like pay rate, discount limits, comp limits, and more have moved out of the Account Information screen and into a dedicated Employee Settings system. Settings now follow a 3-tier hierarchy: Global Defaults, Access Level Defaults (by role), and Individual Overrides.
Admins can manage defaults for every access level from a single matrix view. When a new employee is added, they automatically inherit the right settings for their role. Individual overrides are preserved when defaults change.

🔒 Transaction Viewer Access Control
Control how far back each employee can browse transactions.
A new “Transaction Viewer Max Days Back” setting limits how far into history each role can see. Admins get unlimited access, Managers default to 30 days, and other roles default to 1 day. Fully customizable per access level or per individual employee.
📦 Product Type Packaging Defaults
No more one-size-fits-all packaging types.
Each Product Type can now define its own default packaging types for Master SKU and Transaction SKU. When you create a new item, the packaging types automatically match the Product Type — pipe tobacco defaults to “Tin” and “Ounce,” cigars default to “Box” and “Single,” or whatever you configure. Change an item’s Product Type and TORO offers to update the packaging types to match.

📄 CSV Import: Packaging Types
Import items with the right packaging from the start.
The CSV Item Importer now supports Master Sku Packaging Type and Transaction Sku Packaging Type columns. If you import a packaging type that doesn’t exist in the system, TORO creates it automatically. No more fixing packaging types one-by-one after an import.
🎨 Modern Input Dialogs
Fresh new look for every input prompt.
Number inputs, Yes/No prompts, and dropdown selections throughout TORO have been upgraded to modern styled dialogs with rounded corners, teal headers, and dark mode support. When a default value is shown, typing immediately replaces it — no more having to clear the field first.

💰 Transaction Rounding: Charity Fix
Round-up donations no longer overwrite the customer on the transaction.
When transaction rounding sends the round-up amount to a charity account via virtual gift card, the transaction now correctly keeps the original customer. Previously, the charity account could replace the customer on the receipt.
⚡ Faster Account Loading
No more frozen screens when pulling up a customer.
Loading a customer account now happens entirely in the background with an animated progress indicator. Purchase history, rewards, coupons, SMS status, punchcards, and on-hold items all load simultaneously instead of one-at-a-time. The result: the Account Finder stays responsive while everything loads, and accounts appear noticeably faster — especially for customers with long purchase histories.

- Drawer Close: Simplified cash difference logic — admin overrides are handled cleanly without redundant checks.
- Pricing & Tax: After adjusting special taxes or rounding, TORO now prompts to apply pricing updates to impacted products.
- Brand Selection: Fixed an issue where declining to use a suggested brand wouldn’t open the brand selector.
- Inventory Export: Now uses the integrated email/print workflow instead of opening an HTML file.
- Table Fix: Fixed a potential crash when right-clicking certain tables.
- Analytic Ordering: Cleaned up unused code and simplified the calculation flow.
- QOH Adjustments: Fixed a potential crash when character requirement settings were not configured.
- Master SKU Auto-Fix: TORO now automatically detects and repairs items that lost their master SKU designation on startup.
- SMS Detection: Improved accuracy when identifying which phone numbers can receive text messages.
- Sync Tool Window: Fixed the Online Store Sync Tool occasionally opening offscreen.
- Context Menus: Table row selection now stays highlighted while a right-click menu is open.
- Log Cleanup: Old log files are automatically cleaned up during the v810 update.
- Query Performance: Optimized several customer account queries for faster database response times.
