Reset TeamViewer

 

Sometimes TeamViewer will have issues and block the Support Team from accessing your machine. When this happens, we need to reset TeamViewer.

 

1) Open TeamViewer

  • Click in the “Type here to search” box in your Windows Task Bar
  • Type “teamviewer” and hit ENTER

2) Exit TeamViewer

  • Once you are in TeamViewer, click the 3 lines in the top left corner
  • Click “Exit TeamViewer”

3) Reopen TeamViewer

  • Click in the “Type here to search” box in your Windows Task Bar
  • Type “teamviewer” and hit ENTER

4) Ensure TeamViewer is connected

  • In the bottom left corner of TeamViewer you should see a little circle. This should be GREEN. If it is RED or YELLOW, then check your internet connection by going to www.speedtest.net and reboot your computer.
